GetCarrier LLC ("GetCarrier," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit getcarrier.com (the "Site") or use our shipping platform and services for less-than-truckload (LTL), auto transport, and expedited freight ("Services"). By using the Site or Services you agree to this Policy.

• Shipment details: pickup and delivery locations, dates, commodity type, dimensions, weight, freight class, vehicle make/model/year/condition (for auto transport), and any special handling requirements.
• Account credentials when you register, including hashed passwords and authentication tokens.
• Payment information (e.g., billing address and the last four digits of a payment card). Full card numbers are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors and are not stored on our servers.

• Usage and device data automatically collected when you visit the Site: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.

• Motor carriers and other brokers to whom we tender your shipment, so they can complete pickup and delivery. This may include your name, contact information, and shipment details (and, for auto transport, the vehicle details and condition).
• Service providers that support our business (hosting, analytics, customer support, email/SMS delivery, payment processing, mapping/routing, fraud prevention), bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
• Insurers and claims administrators when handling a cargo claim.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of GetCarrier, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share phone numbers collected for SMS communications with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

By opting in (for example, by submitting a quote or contact form that includes SMS consent), you agree to receive SMS messages from GetCarrier related to quote updates, shipment notifications, appointment reminders, and billing. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at sales@getcarrier.com. Phone numbers collected for SMS communication are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, performance, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. We may use analytics providers (e.g., privacy-respecting product analytics) to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax, accounting and freight broker recordkeeping requirements, which may require us to retain shipment records for several years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
